I strongly condemn the recent book written by Pakistani Politician Imran Khan’s ex-wife, Reham Khan. She has crossed all limits while writing about her 10-month life with Khan and her short-lived stay at Banigala, Khan’s residence. The book is still to be released, but it has faced a lot of criticism.

Everyone has the right to share his or her own experiences. However, everyone has a moral and legal obligation to be 100 per cent accurate before writing such a book.

No one has the right to breach the privacy of others. Our culture and tradition does not allow us to get to this level of criticism. The people mentioned are respectable individuals of the society, working in their fields with dignity. They are women who have families.

Mentioning Khan’s children negatively is highly objectionable. Reham Khan has exposed her own upbringing and mentality by writing the book. Many politicians have come on television to defend her and her words, which clearly depicts the propaganda behind this.

Imran Khan has always been the targeted by his opponents. His vibrant past and a life full of fame and fortune has come under criticism by the political parties in Pakistan. These allegations about Khan’s character are not new to his fans and voters. We have accepted Khan along with his past. We have not only hoped for, but we have faith in him. We trust Imran Khan and stand with him.
