The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) said on Tuesday it is entering a partnership with Startupbootcamp to support the development of financial technology.

The partnership also aims to strengthen the venture capital ecosystem in the Centre and promote entrepreneurship in the region. DIFC said in a statement that the partnership will look at setting up multiple programmes for start-ups within the fields of financial technology, insurance technology, and regulation technology.

The programme will focus on providing guidance to support early-stage start-ups.
