Five countries contributed 46.6 per cent of Abu Dhabi’s total imports during the first three months of the current year, with Japan leading at Dh3.1 billion, followed by Saudi Arabia, the US, India and China.

The total value of the emirate’s imports reached Dh26.3 billion during the first quarter of 2018, according to figures issued yesterday (Wednesday) by the Statistics Centre-Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi’s exports reached Dh116 billion during the first quarter of 2018, with China occupying first place in terms of business sector exports with Dh1.8 billion.
