Social media brought the world together again on Saturday, when online campaigns for Earth Hour were shared. Many across the globe participated. Since its inception 10 years ago, Earth Hour has grown into a global event for climate change awareness. People across the world switched off electric powered lights and non-essential electronics for Earth Hour on Saturday night to raise awareness for global climate action.

#ClimateChange - Observation of the Earth Hour paved a way for pepole to talk about human activity that contributes to climate change. Many observed that action can become a part of people’s daily routines, to cut down power consumption and in turn greenhouse gasses.
