One year ago something awful happened along Al Khail Road in Dubai. Two small cats were thrown out of a speeding car and they smashed against the railings. Luckily, very luckily, someone saw them at the side of the road, put a post up on The Bin Kitty Collective’s Facebook page and with the help of their members, someone picked up the cats. Another member took them to the vet and after some amazing care from Modern Veterinary Clinic, they ended up in great shape.
The little one named Mouse was shaken but fine, which is a miracle, and the older one, named Bearface, had shattered his back leg. It needed to be shaved, operated on and a pin put in, and all the time Bearface was just relaxed, purred and carried on as if he didn’t have a care in the world.
Fast forward eight months and they are with their third foster home and very much loved, but the issue is that I foster cats as much as I can to take them from the streets and save their lives, and I really need to find a perfect home for these adorable cats.
Mouse is a Mau, very typical, cheeky, naughty and playful. Bearface is half fluffy and almost never meows or makes any noise, but they are inseparable. Oddly enough they aren’t related, but somehow, somewhere, they found each other and have been best friends since then!
I have had offers to adopt both separately but I really want to keep them together as they are just so perfect together and would be great for any home, whether it be a loving family with children or just someone who would like a couple of gorgeous cats to enrich their life with love and fun.
