We moved to a new building on March 24 in Al Ain. The next day, we requested etisalat to transfer our existing e-life connection to our new address. Till April 29, nothing had been done.

I called their customer care centre so many times, but there is still no feedback from etisalat. On checking, etisalat claimed that there is no fibre optic connection in the new building. However, on speaking with other tenants, I found that they all have had their e-life connections done.

The person who had requested for it after me has already got the connection at his home, but I am still waiting.

From Mr Bino Baby

Al Ain

The management of etisalat responds:

Thank you for bringing Mr Baby’s concerns to our attention. Etisalat customer service team would want to apologise for all the inconvenience caused to him. After investigation, it was revealed that the issue was due to a structure outside the residence over the etisalat cables. The service will be working and accessible after this is resolved.

(Process initiation: May 9. Response from organisation: May 17. Process completion: May 30.)
