I have FGB credit card for more than four years. I currently lost my job and I am unable to pay the instalments due to shortage of income. I have arranged Dh20,000 from my friends and others to close the card. I visited the FGB collection department to get an amicable settlement without any legal case. The customer care/collection agent is shouting at me while informing the outstanding balance in the card is Dh35,000 and threatening that they will present the security cheque in the bank. I am very much affected by their shouting and threatening. Please provide me with a solution to close my credit card amicably.

The management of FGB responds: FGB is grateful for all customer feedback to which we give careful consideration as we strive to consistently deliver the highest standards of service. We have reached out to the customer on his registered email address to contact us so that we can offer him a settlement plan, which he could afford to pay.
