I had an internet connection with etisalat and I asked for a cancellation on January 30 in order to avoid the billing beginning from the next month. All their devices were returned back to them. I got a verbal confirmation and a phone call confirmation from different employees of etisalat saying the connection was cancelled.

But still I am getting the bills for the service that I am no longer using. The customer care agents are not able to help. Neither is the staff in the branch giving me proper information. I have moved out of that flat and I am still getting charged.

From Mr Nabeel Shamsudeen

Dubai

The management of etisalat responds:

Thank you for bringing Mr Shamsudden’s concerns to our attention. Etisalat customer service team would want to apologise on all the inconvenience caused during this period. Mr Shamsudden was contacted and updated that the rental charges incurred in February and March were due to a delay in ceasing the Fixed LTE account. He has been advised that the account will no longer incur any rental as cessation was finalised on March 6. The customer is contacted and the case is closed.
