I have cleared my card with First Gulf Bank (FGB - now called First Abu Dhabi Bank, FAB) last year but they have refused to close the card, and refused to issue liability or clearance letter. Call centre refers me to branch, but branch refers me to call centre. I am tired! One year on and I keep receiving statements showing Dh0.00 to pay. How am I supposed to pay zero? I need this card closed.

From Ms Mary Mwangi

Ajman

The management of FAB responds: FAB supports the growth ambitions of its stakeholders and goes beyond financial products and services, and as such, we are grateful for all customer feedback as we strive to consistently deliver the highest standards of service. The bank has been in contact with Ms Mwangi, and the matter has been resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

Ms Mwangi responds: Thank you for your intervention. Finally I have received the clearance letter.
