Yes, Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte’s son admitted to the fact that he has a tattoo but he never showed it to the Senate hearing, on the grounds of privacy (“Duterte’s son denies drug smuggling claims”, Gulf News, September 8). Please check your facts before publishing! Scrutinise the facts, as this is like spreading fake news.

I hope Gulf News’ management will look into this misleading and malicious news. It was clear he had a tattoo but there was no description of it. You cannot fool Filipinos in the UAE.

Thank you for the feedback. In this particular instance, there were a lot of updates in the Paolo Duterte story. We could have avoided the word ‘admits’ in the online story, as and when we were updating it.
