What are the primary objectives of Dar Al Ber Society?
Carrying out charitable and endowment projects for developing a sustainable community, teching, memorising and reciting the holy Quran, and spreading awareness about the tolerance of Islam, empowering and involving women in charitable, humanitarian, and cultural work, providing quality services that delight customers and develop financial resources and promoting the culture of creativity and innovation of human resources.
How many people did the Society help in the UAE last year?
Dar Al Ber helped 14,889 indigent and low-income people last year. Food aids were also provided to around 15,000 vulnerable families in 2016.

How do you distinguish the needy from the wanters?
At Dar Al Ber, our social workers study each and every case, verify the documents submitted, pay field visits to eligible cases, and communicate with the various bodies concerned.
What are your main charity projects in the UAE and outside it?
Locally: Accepting cash alms, running free Umrah trips, feeding the poor, treating patients, sponsoring low-income families, contributing foodstuffs, doing Aqiqa (slaughtering animals for newborn babies). Abroad: Sponsoring orphans, building mosques, digging water wells and building orphanages.

Contributions are accepted at any Dar Al Ber branches and staff agents at shopping centres across the country.

Do you also accept clothes, unwanted medicines, toys, furniture?
Dar Al Ber accepts in-kind contributions, be they foodstuffs or clothes, provided that they are new.
