Dubai: Samreen Manan from Pakistan has won an Air Arabia return ticket in the Great Gift Giveaway contest announced by the Dar Al Ber Society’s Happiness Market in XPRESS on November 6.

The online contest question - Where and when is the Happiness Market in the UAE held? – elicited hundreds of responses. But Manan was the first to provide the right answer by saying the market is being held at Zabeel Park, Gate 1, every Friday from October 13, 4 to 10pm and at Mamzar Park, every Friday from November 10, 10am to 7pm. Dar Al Ber Society’s charity initiative expert Juhi Yasmeen Khan said, “The contest received a huge response. Manan’s sister Mehwish collected the winning ticket on her behalf at the Happiness Market in Zabeel Park on November 10.”

She said the winning ticket is non–transferable, non-re-routable and non-refundable and has no cash value. It has to be utilised before June 10, 2018.

Happiest city

She said the recently introduced Happiness Market is in line with the vision of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to make Dubai the happiest city in the world.

Essentially a fun fair, the market hosts retail outlets, food kiosks and games, activities and competitions for kids. Its primary purpose is to generate income for the humanitarian activities of the Dar Al Ber Society.
