What is Edjunction?

Edjunction is a mobile based application which bridges the communication gap between homes and schools by enabling real time information sharing.

How will it benefit schools and teachers?

For starters, it helps school admins to move from an email, SMS and paper based communication to a modern digital online platform. Teachers can use Edjunction to keep parents informed of class updates, student behaviour, homework and assignments.

What’s in it for parents and students?

Parents can use it to keep tabs on their child at school and access important information to support home learning. Students can use it to exchange ideas in a moderated environment without the distractions of Facebook or WhatsApp.

Who is your target audience?

K12 Educators, but we have also seen interest from Higher Education institutions as well.

What has been the response like so far?

Quite good. Initially, we launched Edjunction in South Asia where we have strategic partners like Telenor and Microsoft. Encouraged by the response, we launched it in Europe and Middle East. Over 30,000 people, including students, teachers and parents are using it currently. In the UAE at least one school has come on board and more are likely to sign up in September.
