Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor may take pride in being millennials, but they are old-school when it comes to the matters of the heart.

“Love as an emotion isn’t extinct… it’s just the process of finding love and that special someone is not so simple anymore. There are many ways and steps to getting there now,” said Arjun, who will soon be seen in the romantic drama, Half Girlfriend.

Based on novelist Chetan Bhagat’s bestseller by the same name, Arjun plays Madhav, a Bihari student who falls in love with a seemingly unattainable and popular student, played by Shraddha.

“I am an eternal romantic at heart. I believe in fairy tale romances and happily-ever-after endings,” said Shraddha, who was often shy when it came to expressing love as a teenager.

“I remember liking someone in school but I was so shy to say that I like him that I would blank call him. His mum would pick up and the sad part is I didn’t have the courage to tell him how I felt,” said Shraddha with a laugh.

While the two were happy to discuss the trials and triumphs surrounding complicated relationships, Arjun made it clear that he had no patience with journalists invading his personal space.

When asked about what he texts his colleague Shraddha at night, the actor mockingly retorted: “It gives me immense pleasure that I have come all the way to Dubai to answer that pertinent question… Our personal space isn’t personal anymore. How does it matter if wrote hello or how are you? Tell me sir, who do you send SMS to in the morning or at night?”

He was equally miffed when he spotted a guest being distracted as his team was discussing his film. He called her out on it and gently reprimanded her for being rude and not giving the person speaking on stage respect.

Who said drama is only limited to his films?
