Dubai: The Football Centre Dubai (FC Dubai) has partnered with the German International School Dubai to provide an array of after-school activities, sports management and venue management services, as well as launching a brand new football academy, the German Football Academy by FC Dubai.

Children enrolled at the school, from kindergarten through to grade 12, will enjoy a wide array of after-school activities including football, gymnastics, swimming, basketball and badminton as well as capoeira, parkour and martial arts. For those wanting to take up or continue dance there will also be street, contemporary and ballet styles on offer.

As well as running all the after-school activities and managing the sports facilities and bookings at the school, FC Dubai will also be launching a football academy.

Led by FC Dubai’s fully qualified coaches, children of all ages and abilities will be able to learn new skills and develop their techniques in a fun and educational environment.

The sessions, which are open to all, allow children to develop technically, physically, psychologically and socially, and will also instil the importance of team work, fair play and respect, echoing FC Dubai’s ethos.

Those wanting to try out the academy before signing up can do so for free at an open day on September 23 at the school. Registration is essential as places are limited.

Alongside the football academy, FC Dubai will also be running a martial arts academy led by 10-time individual Swiss champion and 6th Dan, Djim Doula, and a gymnastics academy at the school.
