Dubai: Team Fanatics and Team Bad Boys were crowned champions in the indoor cricket tournament held at Insportz Club.
Team Fanatics overcame Team UPL Stars in the Cup final, while Team Bad Boys got the better of Team Snipers for the Plate title in the one-day tournament.
Batting first, Team UPL Stars put on 27 runs in their allotted eight overs. Of the four pairs only three managed to bat sensibly with Pavan Adnani (3) joined by Pavan Dayalani along with the third and fourth pairs of Siddharth Unnithan (10), Rohan Chawla (8), Deepak Phulwani (11) and Kush Kataria (4) to ensure a respectable total of 27.
Team Fanatics set about their chase in a methodic manner with the opening pair of Nazmil Abdullah (8) and Prajith Nair (7) putting up 15 runs in their two overs, while Hakeem Sha (10) and Sethuraj Karat (6) ensured victory.
The Team UPL Stars bowling attack was led by Arun Raj (3 for minus 15) and Majo Joseph (2 for minus 5).
