Dubai: The duFC’s UAE Girl’s Challenge winning side Go Pro Sports were given a trip of a lifetime to Old Trafford over the weekend to watch Manchester United versus Chelsea and take part in a training session with Red Devils coaches.
United won the game thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford and Ander Herrara on seven and 49 minutes.
The girls were also treated to a tour of the stadium.
Team captain Ava Steven said: “The experience of the duFC’s Girls Challenge was amazing. From the very first whistle of our first match I could feel the enthusiasm of all of the players around me, and their passion for the sport. It was incredible to see so many girls at all levels come and compete for the ultimate prize. The trip was incredible and the experience invaluable for the team, it really allowed us to come together as a team.”
