Abu Dhabi: Defending Arabian Gulf League champions Al Jazira have completed a deal for Brazilian striker Romarinho from Qatar’s defunct club Al Jaish, it is understood.
The 26-year-old, since moving from Corinthians in September 2014, has scored 40 goals in the Qatar Stars League in 72 appearances.
With this move, Al Jazira will almost certainly part ways with Brazilian Leonardo, 30, whom they recruited six months back from 2016 AFC Champions League winners Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors of South Korea for €3.8 million (Dh14.7m).
