Dubai: Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, congratulated Shaikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region and Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and President of Al Jazira Football Club (JFC), on the team winning the President’s Cup.
Shaikh Hamdan also extended his congratulations to Shaikh Mohammad Bin Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Al Jazira Football Company and members of the club’s board of directors.
“It was a pleasure to watch the finals, an amazing event that lived up to the title of President’s Cup and was attended by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Shaikh Mansour and Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development,” said Shaikh Hamdan.
Shaikh Hamdan said that both teams performed admirably and expressed hope that such a display will utlimately reflect on the national squad’s results.
