Dubai: The Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) will host the opening round of the 22ft Dubai Traditional Dhow Sailing on October 21.
Held as part of the marine sports calendar for the season, the organising committee of the race announced that entries were accepted for the race until the evening of October 19.
The club is expecting a large number of participants since it is the opening round of the 22ft dhow sailing category that ultimately culminates with the Al Gaffal Sir Bu Nair race.
The race will start at 3pm on Saturday at the DIMC’s Mina Seyahi waters and participants are expected to arrive early so that they can be at the milling area before 2pm.
