Dubai: Tickets for the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens, November 30 to December 2, are now available online.

The event acts as the first round of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series and the HSBC World Rugby Women’s Sevens Series.

Over 100,000 spectators, 4,500 players and 260 teams will battle it out over eight pitches, making it the largest edition to date.

Admission is free on the Thursday, but tickets per day thereafter cost Dh300 in advance and Dh400 on the day. Season tickets for both Friday and Saturday cost Dh500 in advance or Dh600 on the day. Children Under-12 are free. Special hospitality packages are also available via www.dubairugby7s.com.

New for 2017 will be the expansion of reserved seating areas offering food and beverage at the top of the stand. Fans should enquire early as the offer is expected to sell out quickly.

Tournament director, Jim Fitzsimons said: “We are always looking at ways to ensure that the sporting and social event of the year keeps getting bigger and better and this year is no exception. As we enter our 48th year, fans, players and families can expect another thrilling weekend with something for everyone.”
