Abu Dhabi: Yas Marina Circuit will host a mix of international and home-grown events this weekend as the popular Yas Racing Series returns for Round 2. Racing starts at 9am on Friday.
Back on both Friday and Saturday, the Formula 4 UAE will return to its home grid at Yas Marina Circuit for another exciting preview of tomorrow’s motor racing superstars. This FIA-accredited feeder series aims to produce and nurture the best current young racing talent in a bid to progress young drivers on their professional motorsport career path.
Also taking place at Yas Marina Circuit this weekend is the first round of international championship TCR Middle East. The event format provides two free-practice sessions and qualifying on Friday and the two 60km races on Saturday. The sporting regulations allow two drivers to share the driving duties during the weekend for the regional edition of this exciting global touring car championship
Additionally, spectators will be able to take in all the action as the drivers compete for all-important leader board points in the Formula Gulf Academy, as Rounds 2 & 3 play out on the Circuit on Friday.
The cost for the general admission ticket for the weekend’s packed schedule of events is Dh25 per person.
