Tragic IndyCar driver Justin Wilson saved six lives by donating his organs following his death on Monday after being hit by flying debris during a race, his brother said.
Stefan Wilson tweeted several heartfelt messages about his brother on Tuesday. One of those messages was particularly striking:
“With #giftoflife @justin_wilson saved 6 lives today. He just keeps setting the bar higher. Keep Julia & the girls in your prayers #myherojw,” tweeted Stefan Wilson, also an IndyCar driver.

In a previous tweet, Stefan Wilson had mentioned that his brother was an organ donor.
“He never stopped giving & caring for others,” Stefan Wilson tweeted of his brother on Monday. “Even at this time. He had pre-chosen to donate his organs to help others in need. #myherojw”
