Dubai: UAE Polo Team will take on Bin Drai Polo in the final of the Dubai Cup 2015 at the Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club on Friday.
The second finalist was decided on Thursday, with UAE Polo facing Habtoor Polo in a shoot-out.
Bin Drai Polo had secured their second win in as many matches to become the first team in the final on Tuesday, leaving the remaining four to contest the last two group matches for the remaining spot.
Friday’s action will get under way at 3.30pm with Habtoor Polo, Mahra Polo and Dr. A’s team contesting a three-way play-off for third place, while final will be held at 4.30pm.
Earlier on Wednesday, UAE Polo and Habtoor Polo secured contrasting wins to set up Thursday’s shoot-out to decide the second finalist. UAE Polo beat Mahra Polo 7-5, while Habtoor Polo eased their way past Dr. A’s team 8-4.5.
