Dubai: The commitment to grow the HH Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival will see the event host 94 races including a new series in 2015.

Lara Sawaya, the festival’s executive director and chairman of IFAHR’s Ladies Racing Committee, takes her responsibility very seriously and has identified key areas of development which will see the event raise it’s profile even further.

Sawaya also announced recently that Poland will host the sixth edition of the World Arabian Horse Racing Conference 2015 with 400 breeders, trainers, jockeys, veterinaries, observers and other experts involved in the Arabian racing industry gathered under one roof.

“The conference will run over seven days from May 25th to 31st and culminate with the HH Shaikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies World Championship,” she said.

“Next year, the festival will host 94 races, including the new version of the Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Cup.

“This is going to be an international event at the highest level from all respects.”

Sawaya was speaking during the penultimate round of the HH Shaikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies World Championship (IFAHR) and the 11th round of the Shaikh Zayed Cup which takes place during UAE Day at the Hippodrome Warsaw at Słuewiec on Sunday.

The event features eight quality races for Purebred Arabians.

Sawaya’s vision has been fully embraced by owners and trainers of Purebred Arabians around the world and has been reflected in the success of the 2014 series.
