Dubai: Several Dubai-owned runners, including a trio of Godolphin contenders, appear to be exciting prospects at the All-Weather Championships Finals at Lingfield Park on Friday.

The glittering seven-race card on Polytrack boasts £1 million in prize money, by far the highest amount of prize money for a single day of All-Weather Racing.

The card is headlined by the £200,000 Easter Classic (4.40pm) over 2,000 metres, which has attracted 11 entries including last year’s winner Grendisar (Marco Botti).

Winter Derby second Pinzolo, who is trained by Emirati Esmail Mohammad at Newmarket, is set to step back up to two miles for the £150,000 All-Weather Marathon Championships.

The 17 entries also feature Fast-Track Qualifier victor Winning Story, who represents long-serving Godolphin handler Saeed Bin Surour, who is also represented by Natural Scenery.

Natural Scenery looks the pick on the strength of her easy victory at Newcastle last time out.

Charlie Appleby, also a retained trainer by Godolphin who operates out of Moulton Paddocks in Newmarket, is represeted by Pretend in the £150,000 All-Weather Sprint Championships.

The Godolphin speedball will be bidding to return to the form that saw him storm to victory in this race in 2015.

Bin Surour must also fancy the chances of Dubai One in the £150,000 Three-Year-Old All-Weather Championships over six furlongs.

The All-Weather Championships Finals Day feature six championship races and the culmination of the All-Weather Championship for leading trainer, Jockey, Owner, Sire, horse and Horse of the Year.
