Dubai: Long-timer Meydan pillar partner Al Tayer Motors return to sponsor Thursday’s Dh935,000 six-race card at the iconic racecourse.
The company also sponsors a Dubai World Cup Carnival meeting on February 12 and the $1m (Dh3.67 million) 3,200m Dubai Gold Cup (G1) the longest race on the Dubai World Cup card on March 28.
“Racing at Meydan has been a part of Al Tayer Motors’ long-standing equestrian event sponsorships and we are pleased to present an exciting evening as part of the 2014-2015 season together with Ford and Lincoln,” said Ashok Khanna, Chief Executive Officer of Al Tayer Motors.
“This fantastic event gives the local and regional horse racing talent an unrivalled platform to showcase their sporting prowess and we look forward to seeing the action on the field.”
