Dubai: Thailand’s Pattana Golf Club will debut as one of the Mena Golf Tour’s host venues next season, it was announced on Tuesday.
With Pattana on board, the Mena Tour will now have at least three tournaments in Thailand after Banyan Golf Club and Mountain Creek continued their support after successfully hosting events for the first time this season.
“We feel proud and privileged to join hands with Pattana,” said Mohammad Juma Bu Amim, chairman of the Mena Golf Tour. “Their support augurs well for the growth of professional golf and further strengthens our resolve to create meaningful playing opportunities for our members to showcase their skills on a global basis.”
Rujirapun Juangroongruangkit, Vice-Presedent of Pattana Golf Club said: “We are motivated to make this one of the most popular events in Thailand and look forward to welcoming fans, players, sponsors and organisers alike to Pattana in May 2017.”
