The Premier League title race is a closed shop now, and we are out of the Champions League, so that makes the game against Arsenal extremely important as the FA Cup is our only chance of silverware this season.

Arsenal are not in fine form, but on their day they can be a potent force especially if Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Theo Walcott are at their best.

Their defence is weak though and for that reason I think we’ll have too much for them.

Vincent Kompany is fit again and he’ll be able to command our back line better. He makes the difference and with him in the team I really fancy us. So, I think this could be the final nail in Arsene Wenger’s already-closing coffin. He has to go if they wish to progress. It’s a strong semis line-up, but that said I don’t fear any of the teams left in it.

When we click, we are the deadliest in the country. Otherwise, Spurs are in fine form and pose the biggest threat to us winning the cup.

I don’t think we have what it takes to beat Manchester City. We’ve had a frustrating season, dropping unnecessary points to lower league teams, so to reach the final would be wishful thinking. It’s not going to be easy. Most would say that winning the cup would be a good way to end the season on a high after all the calamity and unrest amongst fans, but for me it’s still not good enough.

It’s been the same old story every season and after spending hard-earned money on tickets we deserve more than that. I also feel however that, should Arsene Wenger announce his departure, the FA Cup would be a good way for the boys to send him off with his head held high. Wenger deserves that at least as a sign of respect for the 20-years of loyalty and passion he’s given our club.
