Madrid: Eduardo Berizzo will take charge of his final game as Celta Vigo boss at home to Real Sociedad on Sunday after the club said he will leave at the end of the season. The Argentine has enjoyed a highly successful three seasons in charge since replacing Barcelona coach Luis Enrique. “It concludes a wonderful three-year period of continuous growth in the sporting, social and institutional parts of the club,” Celta said in a statement announcing Berizzo’s departure. Berizzo, who played for Celta between 2001 and 2005, came close on a number of occasions to leading the club to a first major trophy as they fell at the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey for each of the past two seasons.
