Munich: French winger Franck Ribery has extended his contract with Bayern Munich by a year until June 2018.
The 33-year-old Ribery joined Bundesliga giants Bayern from Olympique Marseille in 2007 and has played 333 competitive matches for the German champions, scoring 108 goals.
Ribery said on Sunday that he is very happy to be able to play another year for Bayern. He said that “this great club and the city have become my home.”
Ribery has won six Bundesliga titles with Bayern and earned one Champions League gong.
