Barcelona: Barcelona director of football Robert Fernandez insists the renewal of Neymar’s contract is soon to be wrapped up.
The Brazilian superstar has been the centre of interest from clubs across Europe, with the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester City keeping tabs, prompting the European champions to look at securing his future.
“Neymar and his management are very happy and we are very relaxed,” Fernandez was quoted as saying by dailymail.co.uk on Monday.
“The club stands by the player. The important thing is that he is happy and that’s something we can see in every game he plays.”
