Abu Dhabi: UAE captain, Rohan Mustafa’s entertaining 69 from 38 balls proved vital as One Stop Tourism defeated Abu Dhabi Cricket Warriors by 13 runs to get their campaign off to a winning start in the Abu Dhabi Cricket Council Ramadan Twenty20 Cup.

Electing to bat first at the Zayed Cricket Stadium under the lights, Mustafa smashed seven fours and three sixes, and shared two valuable partnerships for his team to put up 178 for six.

Mustafa, added 58 for the second wicket with Fahad Ansari (14) and 46 for the third with Hafiz Kaleem (36).

The Warriors kept the chase alive until the final over of the game before they were bowled out for 165. Faraz Imran, the opener, stroked 59 from 49 balls, highlighted by half-a-dozen hits to the fence and a couple of them clearing the grounds.

Adnan Mufti, another UAE international, hit a breezy 75 and Mohammad Sihan took four for 27 to guide Bukhatir Eleven to a resounding 36-run win over Metal Plast.

In the other match, Alubond Tigers emerged winners by five wickets with more than five overs to spare over Singh Diesel and Mir edged out William Hare Abu Dhabi Gymkhana also by five wickets with three balls to spare.

Bukhatir Eleven beat Metal Plast by 36 runs. Bukhatir Eleven 162 for 9 in 20 overs (Adnan Mufti 75, Khalid Shah 37, S. Malhathra 3-12) bt Metal Plast 126 for 9 in 20 overs (Mohammad Sihan 4-27, Mohammad Halan 2-17).

Alubond Tigers beat Singh Diesel by eight wickets. Singh Diesel 120 all out in 19.5 overs (Shahrukh Shaikh 50, Fawad Ghafoor 32, Sharif Asadullah 4-39, Asif Mumtaz 2-16) Alubond Tigers 124 for 2 in 14.5 overs (Yasir Kaleem 57, Mohammad Qasim 37).

Mir beat William Hare Abu Dhabi Gymkhana by five wickets. William Hare Abu Dhabi Gymkhana 155 for 7 in 20 overs (Sajjad Saeed 62) Mir 159 for 5 in 19.3 overs (Abdul Rehman 30).
