Dubai: Six top B Division teams will figure in the seven-a-side cricket festival to be held on September 25 to mark the 68th Indian Independence Day.

Named the Al Wahda Indian Independence Day Cup 2015, the event will be held under the auspices of the Dubai Cricket Council (DCC), with each game limited to five overs per side.

Organised by senior umpire Tariq Butt, all prizes for the competition have been donated by Deepak Arora of City Diamond and Freddy Sidhwa of Seven Seas.

The tournament was initially scheduled to be held on August 15, but had to be postponed to the last week of September due to adverse weather conditions. Interested teams can contact Butt on 050 6584161 or 055 6228447 for entry details.
