Dubai: It will be Danube Lions versus DBMSC Steel in the final of the Ramadan Indoor Cricket Tournament at the ICC Academy at Dubai Sports City.
This finalists of the tournament, which was contested by 24 teams, were confirmed after many intense battles. The question now is whether DBMSC can beat defending champions Danube, who have always dominated the event.
Danube will go into the final as firm favourites as they crushed Oxford Marine in the semi-final. Batting first, Danube scored only 73 runs but they forced Oxford to finish with a score of minus-two runs.
DBMSC reached the final through a nail-biting win over SFS off the final ball. The scores were tied but DBMSC’s Krishna dismissed Shamil to gift his team a win by five runs.
In the 13th Dulsco Ramadan Cricket tournament, Future King Heroes registered a 36-run victory against Carfare Cricket Club at the Zabeel Park Cricket Ground to reach the semi-finals. Shivam Sharma emerged as the hero, hammering 78 from just 40 balls as Future King Heroes piled up 176 for 7 in 20 overs and then dismissed Carfare for 140 in 18.2 overs to become the first team to book a place in the last four. They will now meet the winner of the match between Aster DM Healthcare and Global Distribution.
