Dubai: One of UAE’s most popular websites www.cricketlovers.com is spreading its wings. They have not only formed a team that will tour to foreign countries but also entered into a tie up with CricHQ which broadcasts broadcast many leagues and tournaments.

On the field Cricketlovers went on their first tour to London for a eight day tour under the leadership of Gopal Jasapara, a well-known coach and cricketer. They played seven games and the members also watched the India-England match at Headingly, Leeds. They won five out of the seven games played in different parts of England. “It was our first venture to go out and play cricket with cricket lovers in England. We had great success and added more cricket lovers to our community. Our aim is to extend cricketlovers concept worldwide through tours to different parts of the world,” said Jasapara.

Rohit Bachani of Merlin Digital, who was one of the supporters of the tour was part of the team and took eight wickets. Cricketlovers played against Shrewsbury Cricket Club, Harrow Town cricket club, Harrow Cricket Club & Friends United Cricket Club. Hitesh Parekh scored 205 runs while Ayub Iqbal scored 90 runs. Bachani and Crawford Wilson took 8 wickets. Sixteen-year-old Shishir Bhatia exhibited his skills behind the wicket. The members of the tour were Gopal Jasapara (Captain), Ayub Iqbal ( Vice-Captain), Hitesh Parekh, Rohit Bachani, Agam Shah, Aftab Huda, Shishir Bhatia, Crawford Wilson, Jay Mehta, Parth Patel, Prashant Patel, Andy Rose, Tim Dean.
