If it were the world diving championships, Rolanda Bell might still be in the mix.

The world championships steeplechase runner from Panama tripped over a barrier in Monday’s qualifying round and landed head-first in the pit, with her legs sticking straight out of the water.

She was no worse for wear. After regaining her bearings and shaking it off, she got up and finished the race.

She didn’t make it to the finals but may not have needed a shower afterward, either.

Here's how it unfolded:

1) Bell flies over the barrier, heading for the water

2) It seems the outcome is inevitable

3) Bell's hands touch the water first

4) Before her body plunges in, legs flailing

5) And then she disappears completely
