Dubai: Entries are now being accepted for the second edition of the Detour City Hunt, presented by Enoc, that will be held in Dubai under the auspices of the Dubai Dubai Sports Council (DSC) on November 21.

The Detour City Hunt is a unique treasure hunt in the city of Dubai using only public transport. The one-day sports event will start at 2pm on November 21 with a start from BurJuman Centre. It will conclude the same evening with an awards ceremony, dinner and entertainment at a secret location in the heart of Dubai. Participants have to be above 18 years to enter.

“The Detour City Hunt has just got bigger and better with more than 400 already confirming this year. We want to encourage people to reduce their carbon footprint and support the ‘Go Green’ initiative of the Dubai Government. Contestants will explore the city using public transport, completing various sporting challenges and encrypting clues on the way. The team obtaining the highest scores will be awarded a grand prize of Dh15,000,” said Adel Yousuf Al Bannai, Cultural and Social Activities Manager, DSC.

Registration has opened already and each entry must be accompanied with a registration fee of Dh150 per person. The event is supported by Fitness First, BurJuman, Tag 91.1, Adventure HQ, Anta, SeaYou, and Dubai Municipality, among others.
