Dubai: Bits Pilani, Dubai bagged the overall championship trophy at the end of the annual Gulf Medical University (GMU) Ajman Inter-University Sports Fest that concluded last week.

Leading the way for Bits Pilani were the girls teams while claiming the winner’s medals in table tennis, throwball, cricket and tennis, while ending up with the silver medal in squash.

The boys were not far behind as they clinched the top honours in table tennis, tennis and squash tournaments.

The girls got the better of Victoria College in the throwball final, while Jerry Prashanti was inspirational with her all-round performance to bag the best player award, while Tanya Tyagi bagged the best bowler award as Bits Pilani defeated hosts GMU in the cricket final.
