Zayed returns after successful surgery

1996- President His Highness Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan thanked Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the emirates and the people of the UAE for the noble feelings they expressed upon his return to the country after the successful surgery he underwent in the United States. “It is my pleasure to express my gratitude for the sincere feelings of our people and my appreciation of their love and loyalty, which reflect nobility and deep-rooted national values among the people of one family. May God Almighty help me to serve the people of the UAE and to achieve their aspirations for glory, progress, prosperity, security and stability,” Shaikh Zayed said. Upon arrival at the Abu Dhabi International Airport, Shaikh Zayed was accorded a ceremonial welcome.
