Forte Hotels secures fifth UAE contract

1997 - Forte Hotels secured its fifth management contract in the UAE when the company signed a contract with Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) for the five star Le Meridien Hotel, currently under construction at the club premises in Jumeirah. The contract was signed by Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Emirates, DIMC, Forte Grand Jumeirah and owner of the Forte Grand Deira, and Forte Hotels’ representative Alfonso Giannuzzi, managing director of international hotels for Forte. The hotel, due for completion in 1998, will be called Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Resort and will be the third property in Dubai to be managed by the Forte Group. Ownership of the hotel will remain with DIMC.
