Help Gaza

We all know what is happening in Palestine, with the media being a major source of information for the world. Therefore, I write this letter to ask Gulf News if it is possible for the newspaper to collect aid during the month of Ramadan for our brothers and sisters in Palestine. Also, since protests are being held in many countries around the world, urging the attacks to stop, I ask the newspaper if it is possible for us to have some sort of peaceful awareness drive about the conditions of Palestinian people. This way, we may be able to add further pressure on wrong-doers.

Gulf News cannot collect or fundraise as we are not registered as a charity. However, you can contact several organisations such as Red Crescent (02-6419000) and Dubai Cares (04-4504550) that is providing charity for the Palestinian people. Additionally, we, as a newspaper publish news and coverage that is relevant and shows people the injustices being inflicted on the Palestinian people on a regular basis. We will continue to do our best.
