Dubai: A three-year-old girl who was pronounced dead in the Philippines has woken up at her own funeral, The Philippine Star is reporting.
The girl was declared clinically dead by medical personnel in Zamboanga del Sur, Mindanao, after suffering a fever, according to the website of the Manila-based paper.
But during a funeral service in a church in Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur, the girl began moving her head, police said.
The video above, uploaded to YouTube, seems to show the parents of the girl removing her from her wooden coffin while shocked mourners look on.
Police Senior Inspector Heidil Teelan, Aurora police chief, confirmed the incident in the newspaper. Teelan did not name the girl, whose condition remained unknown.
