Manila: World boxing champion and congressman Manny Pacquiao and his wife Jinkee welcomed their fifth child, who was delivered by a caesarian operation in the southern Philippines on Sunday.

He will be called Israel, Pacquiao announced in a statement sent to his office at the House of Representatives in suburban Quezon City.

They have four other children: Emmanuel Jr, Michael, Princess, and Queen Elizabeth.

It is not known if they will stop having children.

Earlier, Pacquiao said he does not believe in the use of artificial birth control.

His wife was about to give birth when Pacquiao traded paws with welterweight champion Timothy Bradley in Las Vegas two weeks ago. He won the bout.

His wife was elected vice governor of Saranggani in the south in 2010. He won a seat representing Saranggani at the House of Representatives in the same year.
