Dubai: Foreign exchange firm Al Ansari Exchange has donated Dh325,000 to the Dubai Autism Centre to help fund new equipment and a laboratory.
The company said the donation was part of its participation in the Year of Giving initiative.
The donation will allow Dubai Autism Centre to bring in a complete range of speech instruments to assess voice disorders and put in place various therapies for patients.
“We are hopeful that the new speech lab will help children with autism learn how to communicate more effectively,” said Rashid Al Ansari, the firm’s general manager.
