Dubai: Following Thursday’s heavy rainfall in Fujairah, weather forecasters are expecting the possibility of light rain to fall across the eastern region on Monday.

Since last weekend’s rain, the weather across the UAE has significantly declined, with the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) recording Monday’s temperature at 6.45am in Raknah at 8.4 degrees Celsius, while the lowest temperature at Jais mountain was 9.7 degree Celsius.

The temperature will range from 17 to 31 degrees Celsius in the coastal area, 15 to 32 degrees Celsius in the internal areas and nine to 26 degrees Celsius in the mountain region.

The forecast for today is fair weather in general during the daytime, while the formation of clouds will increase later in the day over the islands and the sea.

Mild to moderate winds will blow up to 30km/h in mountain areas, while internal areas will be affected with more blowing dust. The waves in the Arabian Gulf will be moderate, and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.
