Abu Dhabi: The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) today forecast partly cloudy and hazy weather at times over some areas, saying that some clouds are expected to develop over the eastern area by afternoon, and may become towering at times with a chance of some rain.

Light to moderate winds, freshening at times, has also been predicted.

In a statement, NCMS said that the rain will be accompanied by dust which will lead to a drop in temperature in some areas, adding that the Arabian Gulf will be moderate to rough.

The centre also said that there is a chance of rain on Sunday, especially in the east and south, in the morning, accompanied by dust.

The sea will be moderate and sometimes rough, especially with the formation of clouds in the morning.

The weather on Monday will be partly cloudy with a slight rise in temperature and humidity at night. The sea will be light to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman.
