Dubai: The UAE will have mostly sunny skies with moderate winds during the day this holiday weekend, but humid at night and early mornings.

Coastal areas of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and the eastern areas will have partly cloudy skies from Thursday to Saturday, according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology.

Relative humidity will increase to around 80 to 85 per cent by evening to early morning in these coastal areas this weekend.

Dubai will be sunny and pleasant on Thursday and Friday with temperatures ranging between 18C and 26C, while Abu Dhabi will be between 18C and 27C. Ras Al Khaimah’s average temperatures will dip to 10C to 17C.

Moderate Easterly to Northeasterly will blow over Northern and eastern areas. Northerly and Northwesterly will hit the western region, especially over the sea. Over land in western areas, exposed areas may become hazy as winds with speed of 20km/h–30km/h, reaching 45km/h, will blow over the sea.

The sea will be moderate over northern offshore and rough over western offshore areas in the Arabian Gulf with offshore waves reaching 4ft to 6ft, reaching 7ft on Thursday, and reaching up to 9ft on Friday. Oman Sea will be slight to moderate.
