Dubai: You can expect a dusty day ahead, as strong winds are expected to blow across the UAE on Tuesday.

Weather forecasters at the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) said that while hot weather is on the cards for most of the country, it will get partly cloudy and hazy at times.

By the afternoon, southeasterly-northeasterly winds are expected to pick up and reach up to 38km/h in mountain areas, with a maximum speed of 32km/h and 35km/h in coastal and internal areas.

The strong winds will bring in dust, especially over exposed areas.

Over the next two days, fog and mist will continue to affect the northern coast as humidity increases during the night and into the early morning over some coastal and internal areas.

With temperatures ranging from 42 degrees Celsius during the day to 27 degrees Celsius at night, the level of humidity is expected to peak at 90 per cent in coastal areas, while internal and mountain areas will see humidity rise to 80 and 50 per cent respectively.

The eastern areas will also continue to see rainfall in the afternoons.
