Dubai: The western and southern parts of the country may experience scattered light rain on Sunday and Monday morning, according to the national weather bureau.

The weather for Sunday and Monday will be partly cloudy and the amount of low clouds associated with light rain is expected to increase over the western and southern parts of the country, a forecaster from the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) told Gulf News.

Light to moderate northwesterly winds will blow over the Arabian Gulf, bringing temperatures down by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius across the country.

Humidity will increase on Saturday night and early morning Sunday over some coastal areas.

The sea will be moderate to rough over the Arabian Gulf and moderate over the Oman Sea. The public is therefore advised not to head out to sea.
